  • Check with your venue. Some may require a professional coordinator that carries insurance and is required to be there the full length of the rental. Also make sure your friend can cover all bases from timeline creation and management, vendor management, decor set up and tear down following the venues rules, and any end of night procedures.

  • The Venue coordinator sole responsibility is to make sure your venue is set during the day. This may include placing table and chairs to the finalized diagram and making sure the space is clean throughout your event. The Venue coordinator is not there to manage your timeline, decor, and other vendors.
